What size parts can you powder coat?
Our facility is equipped with two large batch ovens designed to handle both high-volume production runs and large fabricated parts:
Oven 1: 8’ wide × 6’ high × 24’ long (interior dimensions)
Oven 2: 8’ wide × 8’ high × 20’ long (interior dimensions)
To allow proper airflow and space for hanging or racking, we typically recommend that finished part dimensions be at least 6 inches smaller than the listed oven dimensions. If your parts are close to these limits, we’re happy to review them with you before scheduling.
Can you handle large production runs?
Yes. Our large batch ovens and workflow are specifically suited for high-volume part runs, large welded fabrications, and mixed-size projects. This capability allows us to coat everything from small components to sizable structural or industrial assemblies in-house.
Do you offer in-house surface preparation?
Yes. We have a large in-house sandblasting area that can accommodate almost any size part or structure. Keeping surface preparation in-house improves quality control and shortens lead times.
What type of blast media do you use?
We use garnet blast media with multiple grit sizes to match your application, including:
- 30/60 blend (medium to coarse grit) for aggressive prep and coating removal
- 80 mesh (medium to fine grit) for sweep blasting and lighter surface preparation
This allows us to handle everything from simple surface prep to full coating removal for refinishing projects.
Can you mask or plug critical areas?
Absolutely. We offer a wide range of masking and plugging options to protect threaded holes, mating surfaces, sealing areas, and other critical features. Masking is tailored to your part geometry and coating requirements.
Do you provide quality documentation or inspection reports?
Yes. We offer advanced reporting for finish parameters and can document key coating characteristics, including:
- Cure schedules
- Applied film thickness
- Diagnostic measurements
- Chemical or performance testing (when specified)

Can you meet project-specific coating specifications?
Yes. If your project requires adherence to specific standards or performance criteria, we can assist with process verification, testing, and reporting to ensure compliance.

Lead times vary based on part size, quantity, surface preparation requirements, and coating specifications. Typical lead times vary from 3 days to 3 weeks. Clients are kept informed throughout the process so there are no surprises.
